Ingredients:
- 2 glazed donuts, sliced in half
- 6 slices bacon
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, or cheese of choice
- 2 tablespoons Richards Maple Syrup
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of cayenne
Instructions:
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Set aside, draining excess grease.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, cinnamon, and cayenne to create a sweet & spicy glaze.
- Toast the sliced donuts in the same skillet used for the bacon, cut side down, until golden brown.
- Flip the donuts, and on each bottom half, lay out 2 slices of cheese, followed by the bacon. Reserve remaining 2 slices of bacon for topping.
- Spread the prepared maple syrup glaze over the bacon and cheese.
- Put the tops of the donuts on and cook for 1-2 minutes longer, allowing the cheese to melt.
- For extra flavor, top with leftover glaze and remaining bacon, crumbled. Enjoy!
