Maple Glazed Baby Back Ribs

There really is nothing like a backyard BBQ with finger lickin’ meats and fixings to end the day. These sweet and savory maple baby back ribs are always a crowd pleaser and even make great leftovers for lunch the next day.

For the Ribs:

  • 3 pounds pork baby back ribs
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp oil

For the Sauce:

  • ¾ cup Richard’s pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 to 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 ½ to 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Remove the film from the ribs and wash ribs.
  2. Brush ribs with oil.
  3. Season with salt and garlic powder.
  4. Wrap ribs in foil and let the seasoning merge with the meat for about 10-15 minutes before grilling
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the basting sauce. Combine all sauce ingredients and mix well.
  6. Prepare the grill to about 325℉ and cook ribs covered for 40-60 minutes or until meat is tender.
  7. Once ribs are tender, remove from foil and place directly on the grill.
  8. Brown the top of the ribs for about 3 minutes and flip.
  9. For the next 20 minutes, base ribs occasionally with the maple glaze.
  10. Before removing from the grill, flip the ribs to brown the glaze for 2-4 minutes, careful not to burn from the glaze.

Cut ribs and serve hot with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
