Maple Monkey Bread with Pecans

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cans premade biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands or comparable)
  • ½ cup chopped pecans (can substitute walnuts)
  • ¾ cup packed Richards Maple Sugar
  • ¾ cup (stick and a half) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Richards Maple Syrup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease your bundt pan with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Combine cinnamon and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Separate individual biscuits and cut each one into quarters. Toss in cinnamon sugar mixture until each piece is well coated. Arranged in the prepared bundt pan, sprinkling chopped pecans or walnuts on top of each layer.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine melted butter, Richards Maple Sugar, and Richards Maple Syrup. Pour mixture evenly over top of arranged biscuit pieces.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before inverting the pan and serving warm. Enjoy!
